Digital Teams.
Digital transformation that doesn’t stop. Most organisations change their digital in big, expensive lurches, then stand still until the next one. A Digital Team keeps yours moving forward all the time, with new ideas every quarter, from the website and apps to portals and onboarding.

01About this service
For organisations whose digital matters too much to be left to decay: websites, apps, self-service portals, onboarding, and anything else your customers use to deal with you. We bring the judgement, the ideas and every skill it takes, and we take responsibility for how good it is. It’s how award-winning organisations like Garforth Gray and the TT Marshals stay ahead of their categories.
Steady improvement, not big rebuilds.A step at a time, so there’s never a costly programme to fund.
New ideas every quarter.New ideas, new tools and new ways for customers to deal with you, as the world changes, brought to you before you think to ask.
Kept secure every day.Hosted, patched, watched and fixed around the clock.

03Your options for staying up to date.
Most organisations try one of the first two, and both end in the same place.
- Hire an agency
- An agency will spend six to twelve months building it, and the day it launches is the best it will ever be. From then on it slips, slowly at first, until the only sensible answer is to start again.
- Build your own team
- Hiring your own developers, designers and infrastructure people means becoming a web development company on top of the organisation you actually run. The salary bill heads towards £500,000 a year before the skills are even in place, and without strong judgement setting the direction, a talented team ends up keeping the lights on.
- A Digital Team
- A Digital Team gives you every skill you would otherwise hire, from £2,750 a month, with the judgement to decide what matters next every quarter. Your digital gets better from the day it launches and never needs starting again.
04Everything is checked on a schedule.
Every part of your digital is on a schedule: the website, the apps, portals and onboarding, and the speed, search and security behind them. Each has a date it was last reviewed and a date it’s next due.
05What it costs.
What’s in it
- DirectionQuarterly design reviews, a yearly overhaul and the plan in between.
- UX and UIThe screens and journeys in the plan.
- DevelopmentThe changes in the plan, front end and back end, tested.
- Hosting and securityAWS hosting, scanning, patching, monitoring, backups, recovery and fixes, all the time.
- The review systemEvery part of your digital checked on a schedule.
- Brand & MediaPhotography, film and design when the plan needs them.
Plus VAT. One predictable monthly fee, committed in three-month cycles. How much of the team you have each month is agreed in the plan, and the exact fee is calculated after we meet.
06Questions.
Is a Digital Team digital transformation?
Yes, done continuously rather than as a one-off programme: a step every quarter, a bigger one every year, and no point where you have to start again.
What is a DotPerformance Digital Team?
A senior team that keeps an organisation’s digital moving forward and safe, all year: websites, apps, self-service portals, onboarding and more. A leader, UX and UI, front-end and back-end developers, and hosting and security, with photography, film and design from DotPerformance’s Brand & Media team. From £2,750 a month.
Where do the new ideas come from?
From changes in the world, like AI changing how people search, buy and get help. From Andy Orton’s sense of what’s coming next, after twenty years of watching digital change. And from a quarterly review of how your customers actually use what you have. You get the ideas; you decide which to do.
Why not just rebuild every few years?
An agency will spend six to twelve months building it, and from launch day it starts to slip, until the only answer is to start again. A rebuild throws away what works and costs the full amount every time. Moving forward all year keeps you ahead for less, and there is no rebuild to save for.
Why not hire our own team?
You can, but you would be getting into the business of web development, with a salary bill heading towards £500,000 a year once the skills are in place. Without strong judgement setting the direction, it rarely moves things forward. A Digital Team brings the direction, the ideas and every skill, and takes responsibility for the result.
How often is the design reviewed?
Every quarter, with a proper overhaul at least once a year, on a schedule that covers every part of your digital.
What does the security cover?
AWS hosting, continuous security scanning with SonarCloud, patching as updates land, round-the-clock monitoring, daily backups, tested recovery and fixing whatever goes wrong. DotPerformance is Cyber Essentials certified, its team holds AWS qualifications, and uptime is never below 99.99%.
Can you take on something you didn’t build?
Yes. We review it first, bring it onto a footing we can look after, and move it forward from there.
How long do we commit for?
Three months to start, then month to month.
Work.
