Websites.
We build category-leading websites to award-winning standards, with the whole service under one roof. Then, with a Digital Team, we look after them properly, so yours stays at the sharp end of your industry instead of being replaced every few years.

01About this service
DotPerformance provides a turnkey website service. Strategy and structure, UX and design, copy, photography and film, development, hosting and security all come from one in-house team, so there’s nothing to source elsewhere and nobody to manage.
02Why it works.
Boal & CoDesigned for you, not from a templateNo templates. A senior designer starts in Figma with a blank page, and you approve every screen before we write code.
Found on Google and quoted by AIBuilt so Google ranks you and ChatGPT quotes you.
Researched against your competitorsBefore we design anything, we research your category and score every competitor’s site. Then we design yours to lead it.
Fast, and stays fastBuilt for speed from the first day, and measured on every template before launch.
Designed to turn visitors into enquiriesEvery layout and every line of copy is there to move people on. Twenty years of watching where people give up, applied to your site.
Edit it yourselvesChange the words and pictures and press publish. No developer needed.
Our own film and photographyShot, directed and edited by our own studio, so your brand looks as good as it is. Nothing from a stock library.
Runs on AWSServerless, so it handles the busiest day without slowing.
Kept up to dateWith a Digital Team, the people who built it keep improving it, so you don’t start again.
03Who you’ll work with.
Andy leads it, with the same people from the first workshop to launch and beyond. You’ll talk it through with Andy and Raluca.

05Compared to the alternatives.
There are several ways to get a website built, and each one suits someone. This is roughly what each costs and what you get.
- A DIY platform.
Wix, Squarespace and the like, from a few hundred pounds a year. The cheapest way to start, but you get a template and do the writing, the pictures and the upkeep yourself. A good place to start.
- A freelance designer-developer.
Usually £3,000 to £15,000. Quicker and cheaper for small jobs, but everything rests on one person, and the site usually stands still after launch.
- Us.
From £7,500 plus VAT for a microsite, £15,000 for a larger site managed in Orbit™ and £25,000 for a category-leading site, with research, design, build and copy included, by the same senior team from the first workshop to launch.
- A UK mid-tier or large agency.
Usually £40,000 to £150,000 for the build. The work is often good, but the people who pitch aren’t always the people who do the work.
06Questions.
How much does a website from DotPerformance cost?
DotPerformance websites start from £7,500 plus VAT for a microsite, from £15,000 for a larger site managed in Orbit™, and from £25,000 for a category-leading site. Research, structure, design, copy, build and testing are included. Photography and video for the site are from £3,000. The figure is agreed in writing before work starts. Managed AWS hosting and security is from £100 a month, and Orbit™ is £299 a month.
How long does DotPerformance take to build a website?
Most DotPerformance websites take eight to sixteen weeks, depending on size. The timeline is agreed before the project starts, and progress is shared on a messaging channel so you always know where things are. You see the design before we write any code, and the working site before it goes live.
What happens after a DotPerformance website launches?
The site is yours to run on Orbit™, DotPerformance’s content platform, hosted on AWS. For continuous improvement after launch, with design reviews and new ideas every quarter, DotPerformance offers a Digital Team.
Can our team edit a DotPerformance website ourselves?
Yes. Every DotPerformance website runs on Orbit™, its own content platform, built for editors. Your team changes the words and pictures and publishes them, with no developer needed.
Is a DotPerformance website built for SEO and AEO?
Yes. DotPerformance gets the technical SEO right on every build: structure, metadata, schema and speed. On top of that, pages are written so that AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity can quote the organisation accurately.
Has DotPerformance built websites for government and regulated organisations?
Yes, including the Isle of Man Government, the Isle of Man Post Office, and clients in banking and financial services. DotPerformance is Cyber Essentials certified, builds to accessibility and GDPR standards from the design stage, and uses the same testing and security standards on every project.
Who owns a DotPerformance website?
You do. The site, its content, images and data are yours. If you ever move it elsewhere, DotPerformance hands over the front end for rehosting; the Orbit™ platform behind it stays with DotPerformance.
Does DotPerformance build websites for clients outside the Isle of Man?
Yes. The studio is on the Isle of Man, but much of its work is for clients across the UK and further afield, delivered remotely.
