This cookie policy was updated for our new website on 9 October 2026.
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. This page explains what they are, what they are for, and how to choose.
Your choice
When you first visit, a small notice asks whether we can use cookies to measure the site. Measurement cookies are only set if you choose Allow. If you choose No, or ignore the notice, they are not set.
Your choice is stored in your own browser (in local storage, under the name dp-consent), not in a cookie, and it is not sent to us. You can change it at any time with the button below, and the notice will ask again.
For more information about managing cookies in your browser, please see aboutcookies.org.
Essential
This website does not need cookies to work. The only thing it stores without asking is your answer to the cookie notice, as described above.
Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to measure how people use the website. Google Analytics sets these first party cookies:
| Cookie name | Default expiration time | Description |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | 2 years | Used to distinguish users. |
| _ga_<container-id> | 2 years | Used to keep the state of a visit. |
You can read how Google safeguards your data on their website. We don't share the data that Google Analytics collects. We use it:
- to report, in aggregate, how our visitors find and use our website;
- to understand overall visitor behaviour; and
- to inform how we update and improve our website.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every website with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Embedded films
Our films play through Gumlet's video player, embedded in our pages. When you play a film, Gumlet may set its own cookies. Short silent loops on some pages, such as the home page, also load through Gumlet. See Gumlet's privacy policy for details.
Brief form
Our "Submit a brief" form is provided by Formstack and loads inside our contact panel. When it loads, Formstack may set its own cookies. See Formstack's privacy policy for details.
Other cookies
From time to time we may add external services to our website which may create cookies on your device. When we do, we will update this policy with the details. If you have any concerns about the cookies we use or how we ask for your consent, please contact us at support@dotperformance.com and we'll be happy to answer your questions.
