Behind the scenes of an FPV drone shoot at the Gaiety Theatre, showing the planning, coordination and control behind the finished flythrough.

This page shows the behind-the-scenes side of an FPV flythrough filmed inside the Gaiety Theatre during Annie Get Your Gun.

The shoot involved more than flying the drone. Routes had to be planned, performers had to be briefed, and movements had to be timed so the drone could travel through the theatre safely and smoothly while the production carried on around it.

What you see here is the setup behind the finished piece: the pilot in position, marks being called, paths being explained and the cast working with the crew to make each pass possible.

Our role: FPV planning, drone operation, production coordination and behind-the-scenes capture.
