Veronica Danila

Front-End Developer

Veronica is Front-End Developer at DotPerformance. She builds the front-end of websites to a high standard, with a particular focus on the detail and testing that determines whether something is truly ready to launch rather than just ready to look at.

With more than eight years of experience in front-end development, Veronica works primarily in HTML and CSS, building templates using the Bootstrap framework and taking care to ensure that every project meets the standard required before it goes anywhere near a live environment. Speed testing, security testing, and browser and device testing all sit within her remit, and she approaches each with the same thoroughness she brings to the build itself.

She is known within the team for her work ethic and her attention to detail, two qualities that are easy to claim and harder to consistently demonstrate. Veronica demonstrates both.

Why does pre-launch testing matter as much as the build itself?

Because a website that looks right is not the same as a website that works right. Testing across browsers and devices, checking load speeds, and running security checks before launch is what catches the things that would otherwise only surface once a site is live. Veronica treats that process with the same care as the development itself, which is why the sites she works on tend to launch cleanly.

What does working to a high standard mean in front-end development?

It means the code is clean, the layout holds across every screen size, and nothing has been left to chance. Front-end development sits at the point where the work becomes visible to the world, and the gap between something that looks finished and something that actually is finished is where attention to detail matters most. That is the standard Veronica works to.
