Grandstand shoot with Dominic Herbertson.

The TT Marshals ran a prize draw with an Albion Knitting Co quarter-zip as the prize. To drive entries it needed commercial photography, so we took it to the Grandstand rather than the studio.

The location did a lot of the work. Pit lane railings, the Tourist Trophy signage, the marshals car in the background. Marshal kit photographed where marshals stand.

Dominic Herbertson wore it. A familiar face in the marshals community, which gives the frames a credibility a stranger in the same garment wouldn't have. The shoot mixed close detail shots of the garment and embroidered crest with relaxed portraits against the pit lane railings, three-quarter shots in front of the marshals car, and full-length frames with the Tourist Trophy signage in the background.
