We have worked with the Island's top hair salon for a number of years and have just recently released the refreshed 3rd generation website.
Over our 8 year relationship we have helped Utopia build their brand through online and print based media, with this new site reinforcing the salon's professional digital presence. The design direction and colour palette was unified with the stunning interiors whilst bold and youthful imagery is used to reflect the Utopia ethos of great hair and better service.
Looking fantastic wasn't the only objective, we saw this as an opportunity to enhance the overall user experience. We analysed the customer journeys and how the Utopia customer interacts with the website. Requesting an appointment online has been broken down into 3 steps, making it a breeze to book in for a snip with your favourite stylist. Need a gift voucher quick or want to request a special hair product? No problem! Finding important information like price lists, services and contact details couldn't be easier with the new streamlined design. Strong typography, bold colours, informative blocks and fun imagery all support the simplified user experience, making navigation simple and enjoyable.
As well as integrating our bespoke CMS software to allow the Utopia team to keep on top of their expanding content with minimal effort, we also added technology to directly pull in their Instagram feed. This now enables stylists to upload snaps of their latest cuts to Instagram which will then be synched seamlessly across the gallery pages.
The site looks and functions just as great on mobile devices, with a responsive framework in place allowing you to book a blow dry directly from your phone.
Powerful technology paired with a refreshed, vibrant look and feel website all enhance the modern reputation of this pioneering beauty business. Utopia remain at the top of their game.
